Episodes run right around 48 minutes. Jakob Oftebro, Peter Andersson, and Electra Hallman headline the cast. The covers say this is a dark, intricate mystery, but the actual story construction has big enough flaws that it’s more of a shallow mystery in familiar territory rather than an engaging dive into a mystery.

Core Feature Set: Technical Competence, Narrative Deficits

What makes the roughly one hour mark film, “Blood Sacrifice” worth noting, is that it gets so much right with such a small budget. The cinematography is consistent, as are the frames through the gloomy sheen. The design of the production adds to the realism of the backdrop for the drama to unfold. The performances from Jakob Oftebro and Peter Andersson bring a level of depth to character arcs that are underdeveloped in the writing. The crew seems to have a solid understanding of design and actors, as well as how to capture visual appealing, quality films. While these elements pull the film together, they do not restore the structure that is lacking.

A lot of the characters feel very flat because they don't have a lot of depth to them. This is especially true for the main character, where the relationship between the main character and his father is very tropy and has little depth to it. For what it's worth, the game suffers from an overall blandness and predictability, which leads many players to believe the game runs the same plotlines as other popular crime dramas. Many players believe the game also contains some poor thematic plot lines that detract from the gameplay.

Measuring in at around 48 minutes each, "Blood Sacrifice" can be consumed in a lot of different ways. Episodes short enough to cover a commute on your phone or while you have breaks at work make it easy to consume in a lot less time than most other series. It's also definitely NSFW so be careful where you couch that laptop. The execution of themes actually falls flat, mostly thanks to the overall writing in the series. That said, the app seems to run rather well, avoiding buffering and slowdowns, and I’ll give the series credit for that.

"Blood Sacrifice" has little to no original ideas, and because of that, it falls under the "competent, but boring" category. This movie is the textbook definition of mediocrity. Because of this, it should be easily avoided by people looking for more.
